The Progressive Education Program serves approximately 150 students in 22 classrooms in age appropriate settings at Estes Elementary, Valley Springs Middle School and TC Roberson High School. PEP students who have moderate to severe physical and intellectual disabilities are referred to the PEP Program by their IEP teams. The PEP program provides individualized classroom instruction by skilled special education teachers and instructional assistants, related services staff, adapted physical education and job coaches. PEP provides a nurturing and safe learning environment which promotes a positive learning experience and fosters self-esteem in our students. We value our students as individuals with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs who are treated with dignity and respect.
